Add Navigation Access Permissions

Open the Navigation Permissions Tab on the Role screen.

  • The Name column represents the items on the main navigation tree.
  • Set the Is Not Visible checkbox to true to hide that specific menu item from the main navigation tree.

When setting the Is Not Visible checkbox to true only hiding the navigation menu item, it does not automatically revoke access to those specific tables.
E.g. if you set the Customer module menu item to Is Not Visible and a user opens a customer record via a task using the Drill Down feature, the user will still be able to edit the customer record.  To revoke specific permission types, use the Type Permissions Tab.
